Nothing wastes more time than typing a dead code into the redeem box over and over. This page keeps a running list of expired Grow a Garden 2 codes so you can skip them entirely, plus the one code that still works and exactly how to claim it. For the bigger picture on where new codes come from, pair this with how to find codes.
Grow a Garden 2 only launched to everyone on June 12, 2026, so the code situation is moving fast and everything here is community-reported — always verify in-game.
The one active code
At the time of writing there is a single working code:
- TEAMGREENBEAN — grants 3 Green Bean Seeds.
Redeem it now before it joins the expired list below. You can put those Green Bean Seeds to work using the green bean seed page and the planting advice in the beginner guide. The live codes page is where we track the active list as it changes.
Expired codes (don’t bother)
These have all run out. Entering them will return an error instead of a reward, so cross them off your list:
- STARBUD
- torigate
- RDCAward
- LUNARGLOW10
- BEANORLEAVE10
Notice the variety — some are event tie-ins, some look like milestone or convention codes, and capitalization is all over the place. That last detail matters: codes are case-sensitive, so torigate was never the same as TORIGATE. If a code ever seems to fail for no reason, double-check capitalization before assuming it is dead.
How to redeem a code
The redeem flow in Grow a Garden 2 is quick once you know where it lives:
- Open the game and look for the cog / settings icon in the top-left of the screen.
- Click it to open settings, then find the Codes section.
- Paste the code exactly — codes are case-sensitive, so match every letter.
- Hit Claim to receive your reward.
If a code you believe is current refuses to work, our codes not working troubleshooting guide walks through the usual culprits — typos, hidden spaces, capitalization, and codes that quietly expired between when they were posted and when you tried them.
Why codes expire so fast
Codes in this game are short-lived by design. New ones tend to drop alongside updates and milestones, and they often have a tight redemption window. That is great when you catch them early and frustrating when you find a months-old list. It is exactly why a page like this exists: to separate the live code from the graveyard.
The practical habit is to redeem immediately. The moment you see a fresh code announced, claim it the same session. Seeds and rewards are cheap to bank and impossible to recover once a code expires. As your garden grows, those free Green Bean Seeds and similar drops slot neatly into the strategies in how to make money fast.
Where new codes come from
The two official channels worth watching are the Discord (invite code R42XW3JD6M) and the X/Twitter account @GrowaGardenRblx. New codes are announced there first, usually attached to an update or a community milestone. We cover the full process — including how to verify a code before you trust it — in how to find codes, and you can see what shipped at launch in update 1: everything new.
Bottom line
Skip STARBUD, torigate, RDCAward, LUNARGLOW10, and BEANORLEAVE10 — they’re done. Grab TEAMGREENBEAN for 3 Green Bean Seeds while it lasts, redeem through the settings cog, and keep an eye on the official Discord and X for the next drop. We’ll keep this list and the codes page current as codes come and go, but the game is the final word, so verify in-game.
