Gold Mutation

Gold is a growth mutation that paints a crop gold and multiplies its sell value by about 10×. It can appear at random as a crop grows, and the Midas Event raises the odds. Planting Gold-mutated seeds and running the Golden Dragonfly pet both increase how often it shows up.

Mutations in Grow a Garden 2 do not stack — a crop carries one mutation at a time, so a higher-value mutation overwrites a weaker one. Multipliers are community-reported and disagree between sources; verify in-game. See the best mutations ranking and the value calculator to compare them.
